The cement plant Schelklingen is located 25 km western from Ulm. The cement plant gets the raw material from the nearby located quarries Vohenbronnen, Gerhausen and the quartz and sand pit Altheim. The town Schelklingen is located in the „Urdonautal“, submontane of the Swabian Alb.
