Firstly, as was announced in the very first article, we want to pull out the acacia and poplar seedlings from the open area on the middle floor, which will hopefully free up space for other plants and we will also see in a year how many seedlings will germinate during the growing season.
And since our experiment is mainly bound up with the cane, we will also be pulling it out. I must admit it was not entirely our own idea, but Associate Professor Tichý advised us. The essence of this work will be to measure, after being pulled out, how much the cane can recover. These areas will be distributed around the quarry and the results should be visible in September.
